Man Concert IV

  • University Church of St Mary the Virgin High St England, OX1 4BJ United Kingdom (map)

We’re back! Man Concert IV, the fourth in a sellout series of gigs in recent years from the men of Man Choir, Oxford's community men's choir, will take place in Oxford’s beautiful University Church on Saturday 21 May.

Featuring a group of Oxfordshire men that didn’t let lockdown get in the way of learning new songs, the evening will move seamlessly from American folk, recent movie soundtracks, give a new twist on a classic shanty and even include a heartfelt Georgian lament. A highlight will be Man Choir’s own treatment of an 80s pop classic and theme for our times, the video for which proved to be an international social media hit in 2020.

Supporting Man Choir will be the brilliant Mandolirium, playing Celtic, bluegrass, ragtime and swing jazz with passion and precision on mandolins and guitar, plus a special guest spot from The Best Sing Since Sliced Bread.
